Jamestown Presbyterian Church Outreaches

Avalon- A Center for Women and Children Programs for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Residential Program includes emergency shelter, transitional apartments for qualified, shelter residents, and life skills courses. Outreach Program includes 24-hour Helpline, individual and group counseling, legal advocacy, weekly sessions for special needs' students at the high school level, and advocacy workshops for volunteers and the community at large.

Hospice House    In 1982, "Hospice of Williamsburg" was founded as a nonprofit charitable organization by lay and professional volunteers to enhance the quality of living for individuals facing the last phases of life and to support the people they love. From His Hands  A fairly new ministry, in partnership with other local churches and organizations, is called "From His Hands".  Each group purchases, prepares and serves meals from The Salvation Army Canteen to families in need. We are currently serving one night a week in the Grove area and feed about 85 people. The larger churches have opened their kitchens to those without kitchen facilities and From His Hands is very much a cooperative and rewarding effort.

Boy Scout Troop 102 Troop 102 is a scout led troop that is sponsored by the Jamestown Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg, VA. We strive to maintain a relaxed yet motivated environment in which the scouts can discover, strengthen and pass along a variety of skills with the assistance of the adult leaders. Our goal, as leaders, is to use the BSA model to help develop tomorrow's leaders; building within each scout a solid intellectual, spiritual and emotional foundation upon which they can base decisions when faced with life's challenges

Fish  FISH is a volunteer agency that provides emergency help to residents of the Greater Williamsburg Area. FISH depends entirely upon a caring community for food, clothing and cash donations. Our church collects food for FISH and members .
